San Anton Gardens
Parks and Gardens - Famous from Malta, Mosta
Located in the very heart of Malta, near Attard, St. Anton Gardens are a real botanical gem, hidden behind the high walls around it. As soon as you step in, you`ll experience tranquility and fresh smells coming from the rich vegetation flourishing around. Between the alleys with tropical trees, there are many sculptures, ponds and exotic birds, completing the scenery.
San Anton Gardens hosts a number of events each year, including horticultural shows, open-air theatre and musical performances. Attached to the gardens is San Anton`s Palace, built in 1636, by the Knights of Malta. The Palace is officially the home of the Maltese President, and it is not open to the public.
The gardens are open daily:
7:00AM-6:00PM (June to September)
7:00AM-5:00PM (October to May).
Entrance is free.
